REVIEW : My Little Fashion Box (September)

 Sawasdee ka~
Ohhhh  just realise that I didn't do my little box review last month :/ I'm really sorry guys it was a tough month for me as I'm approaching final stage of my PhD life and omg that long thesis I have to write...it took all my time. Anyway, although I haven't done my whole thesis yet (almost there!) but I just can't resist writing something on my blog. I'm just going to take a break from those scientific books and start writing some post on here. This month's box  is My Little "Fashion" Box. Save to say it's a fashion week month!

The box itself is designed beautifully as always. I love reading quote and always excited every time when I receive the box. And again the quote for this month actually catches my eyes : The prettiest Dress are worn to be taken off :)
What else can I say I love the lifestyle related items for this month! So first thing you see are that little Cointreau bottle and little cocktail recipes booklet. I'm pretty surprise when I saw them really. Never imagine any beauty box will have a courage to add liquor in their box but My Little Box did it and it's a great idea. However, I don't personally really drink alcohol I normally prefers mocktail over cocktail. Although this little bottle might not be for me but I'm pretty sure my boyfriend will love it. The next thing is what I love the most, the softest scarf from American Vintage, it's a simple yet chic scarf with basic black and white colour but it should go really well with many dresses and occasions. And as you know it that time of the year when temperature starts to drop so it's a perfect time for scarf. There is also a set of nail decals in pastel colour. I always love nail decals. It's a perfect item when you don't want just a plain nail colour. This is an extra something that will make you nails look prettier.

Coming up to a beauty product part which is normally put inside of cute drawstring bag. Inside you will find 3 different items. The first thing is the full size La Roche Posay Hydrating BB Cream in the shade "light". I think this is a risky product to include in the box as people skin tone can be change all the time. I'm not saying I don't like it I always want to try new thing and I heard good things about it too but I don't think I can wear this shade until winter when my skin is a bit lighter. I think My little box selected the colour based on my personal info so I guess some people will get different colour. Next is Kéreatase Couture Styling Laque, it's a fixing hairspray and gives a super strong hold. My old hairspray just run out so it's a perfect time for a new one to try. Last but not least, Red Dingue Lip Cream, it's My Little Box own product. I find that their items are usually really good quality and this lip cream doesn't let me down. It's incredibly pigmented which applies like a dream, dry matte and stay put for whole day!

Overall, this month products are a fab selection. For people that interested in this box, My Little Box costs £11 a month (+£3.95 postage). You can sign up here

[REVIEW] Lancôme Hypnose Doll Eyes VS Hypnose Volume-à-ponter The mascara that won't smudge

 Sawasdee ka~

Recently I just found a perfect mascara combination for my straight long thin eyelashes. So my problem is that all of non-waterproof mascara I tried made my lashes floppy and uncurl. My secret (well~not really someone might already know this anyway) to keep my eyelashes perfectly curled from  day to night is to use waterproof mascara. I have tried many different brands from drugstore to high-end one from Maybelline to Chanel but none actually made me impress. Although they can keep my lashes fuller and curled but by the end of the day I started to see some smudges around my lower lashes line which doesn't look nice. Hello Panda eyes >__< Until 3 years ago I discovered Lancome Hypnose mascara line and I instantly fell in love. No wonder why Hypnose mascara line always win beauty award! Yes it is a bit pricey but it worth the money (at least in my opinion).

REVIEW : My Little Road Trip Box (July)

Sawasdee ka~
"Life is like a road trip. Enjoy each day and don't carry too much luggage"
Finally my most favourite box from My little box is arrive at my door. I saw a picture of it on Instagram before I actually receive the box. Yeah~it ruined the surprise however it didn't ruin my excitement though. I know from the moment I open the package that this box is going to be the best. As soon as I open the box, I sense a lovely smell inside. It was sweet but somehow fresh. This month's box  comes in "Road Trip" theme which is perfect for me as I often travel a lot during the year.

[HOW-TO] MAKEUP INSPIRED BY DJ SODA VERSION TANNED SKIN

Sawasdee ka~

This week I created a look that inspired by current famous DJ from Korea. Her official name is DJ Soda have you ever heard her name? She is really popular in my hometown at the moment. As can be seen in the pictures she got a porcelain skin but I'm pretty tan right now so I will adjust makeup colour to suit my skin tone.

Let's get started!

REVIEW : My Little French Riviera Box (June)

Sawasdee ka~

"This is my happy place"

Early on this month (June) I got an email from My Little Box that the box will arrive a little bit late due to some technical problem. I normally receive it on the 10th-ish of every month but this month I got it on the 20th. So I have high hope that there might be something extra special inside the box. This is my second time I review My little box and I promise I will do it every month from now on (until I unsubscribe it).

Again within the box you will get 3 beauty products, 2 lifestyle-related products, one card and my little world magazine. To be honest, I'm a little bit disappointed that there isn't anything extra special in the box. However, I still quite like the overall look. This month box comes in blue theme that will go really with this the heat in UK at the moment.  This box crated by Sarah Lavoine, a French interior designer. I also did a bit of googling about her and found her works. She is a good creative with chic and modern yet simple product design.

HAUL : Lipstick & Makeup Organisers

Sawasdee ka~

Sorry guys, I know I haven’t blogged for ages. So first of all I would like to update my current situation for a bit. I’m currently on my final stage of my PhD student life. I’m pretty busy with writing up my thesis. So I might not be able to write blogpost that often now. BUT I still often update my Facebook so this is another alternative way to keep in touch with me.

Okay enough ranting. Let’s get going. My post this time will be a little bit more special. I got YOUTUBE CHANNEL! This will be first time when you actually see me talking (in Thai -__-“ bit I have subtitle in English though so don’t worry).

HOW-TO : [MAKEUP] Flower Power...Spring is coming

Sawasdee ka everyone~
As spring is approaching UK slowly I think it would be a good idea to do a how-to that has inspiration from flower. I'm personally love colourful flower and always find a nice bunch of flowers to fill up my beautiful vase at home.

My inspiration for today how-to is from Chrysanthemum. It symbolise optimism and joy. It also has a wide range of colour from white to purple to red with a yellowish centre. And the colour I picked was purplely-pink Chrysanthemum.

SWATCHES & REVIEW : Makeup Revolution [Part Two]

Sawasdee ka~

How could I resist buying more lipstick when I have a chance. If you can remember I did swatches and review on various products from Makeup Revolution earlier last week.  As you can see there were too many products to show in one post so I will continue my second part here. If you are lipstick lover you might like this post.
I'm a lipstick junkie and my lipstick collection is growing bigger and bigger each day. However I feel like there is something missing from my collection. Last year I showed my lipstick collection in my lipstick tag post and on the last question that ask about lipstick I'm lust after. My answer was I lust after odd lipstick colours. So finally I have a chance to buy it at a very cheap price tag. Believe it or not, it only costs me £1 - £2.99 each. To be honest I was a bit skeptical about the quality of a £1 lipstick but what is the worst that can happen? At the end I manage to buy 7 lipsticks in total!

Well I'm not only after odd colour but, as you can see, I also buy peachey nudey shades. I only bought 3 odd shade as I'm not quite sure whether I will like it.
Obviously the packaging doesn't look appealing, at least for me. The lid comes off easiliy so bare that in mind if you think about putting it in you bag. Well, but that is what I expect from cheap lipstick anyway.

The consistency of pigment is vary from colour to colour. I would say Depraved (purple) is the best out of 3 odd colours. It's glide on really well and has good enough pigment to cover my lip colour but Atomic (green) and Felony (yellow) are the opposite. Pigment is not that great and they made my lips look streaky. I have to applied few coats to get the right colour. However, at this price tag I don't want to do much complain.

For Bliss, Marshmellow Kiss Baby doll and Dream about success. They all stay on for a good amount of time. I find it is better to put a bit of lip balm or concealer on my lips first.
Overall I actually really like these lipsticks.  For the price I really can't complain that much and the quality is not bad at all. I think they are good for experimenting with new colour. Especially if you are after odd shade and don't want to spend too much money on lipstick that you know you probably use just  few times. Makeup Revolution is a good destination.

Have you tried lipstick from Makeup Revolution before? What do you think about it?

SWATCHES & REVIEW : Makeup Revolution [Part One]

Sawasdee ka~

I have seen posts about Makeup Revolution for awhile but I've never had a chance to have a good look at this brand until recently. The brand is well-known for making a good dupe from a good brand with an affordable price. After I play around with the items I ordered I can confirm that they provide pretty good quality products too
❤︎ Essential Matters 2 Eyeshadow Palette (£4)
Some of you might already know that MakeUp revolution makes a perfect palette dupe for Urban Decay Naked and swatches on the internet sure look convincing. However I already owned Nake 2 and 3 so I prefer something different. I end up order this matte eyeshadow palette which I love...the pigment and colour are amazing! Although I have to say I didn't like the packaging but with this price tag I don't expect much anyway. This palette also comes with a sponge applicator but I never use them as I prefer using my finger or brushes.
Swatches from left to right as you can see them in the palette
The palette has 12 shades with neutral colours that perfect for everyday use. All of them gives a really good colour payoff. You can build up the colours to however heavy or sheer you like.
❤︎ Iconic Pro Blush, Bronze and Brighten-Flush (£4)
Is it look familiar to you? It looks exactly like Sleek Makeup highlight and contour palette. Again it shows a good colour payoff on your skin.

❤︎ I ♡ Makeup Blushing Hearts-Peachy Pink Kisses (£4.99)
Again, this is another dupe for Two Faces Hearts Blusher but I don't own any of them so I can't really compare the quality. The blush inside is gorgeous with 3 different shades but I only do a one swatch for the mix of 3 together. I think most of you will use it that way anyway. It's very shimmery blush which will be noticeable if you look closely.

❤︎ Ultra Aqua Brow Tint in Medium (£3)
Another product that remind me of Make Up For Ever Aqua Brow. It's something I've never tried before so I think I shall start of with Makeup Revolution before try more expensive one from MUFE. I love the product but it would be better if there are more shade available (currently 4 shades). It, somehow, show up a reddish brown on my brow which look quite weird but it can be fix with some dark brown eyeshadow on top. It's very pigmented so you only need small amount.

Overall I'm pretty impressed with my purchase. It's such an affordable makeup brand with great quality product. If you want to get new makeup but don't want to spend too much on it this brand would be great option to start off.

Stay tuned for part two :)

HAUL : M.A.C Isabel and Ruben Toledo Collection

 Sawasdee ka~
Last week M.A.C has launched new collection "Isabel and Ruben Toledo" which have caught my eyes since I saw the preview. I know M.A.C frequently launch new collection to the market but I don't always like it. However, I physically swooned by this. This collection is so bright and lovely to be ready for spring! In fact, it could be the most creative and coolest collection I have ever seen.
So this is the overview of what I got on Friday. Pretty isn't it?
I was lucky enough to arrive at the shop just in time before everything sold out. I bought myself an ombre blush on and 2 lipsticks. Blush on is the highlight for this collection. Can you see how gorgeous it is with those little tiny shimmer? There are 2 shades available in UK store (3 shades in some other places) in this collection and I picked Ripe Peach colour. The sales assistant actually told me that this colour is the most popular among all of the others. It's likely to sold out first. One little disappointment is there is no mirror inside the package for £25 price tag. Well I still love it anyway lol
If you love matte lipstick especially red shade then this collection is definitely for you. I'm not sure why there are so many red in this collection but they are all beautiful. I got myself one classic red shade in Opera and one peachy nude shade in Oxblood. Does that sound familiar? Oxblood is one of the most popular nude shade that sold out everytime when it is relaunch.

Do you like this collection?

My Little Box : My Little Frenchie Box

Sawasdee ka~
I know this is March and this Frenchie Box is suppose to be for February but I want you guy see how cute it is anyway. I just received this little box on Friday (27th Feb) last week which is quite late but I can't blame anyone right? Because I know that I order it a bit late. My Little Box is one of the beauty boxes in UK market. I know there are soooooo many options and this is the more recent addition to the UK. To help you decide whether you like it....Let's have a little peak inside the box :)

My first impression is the design I love the box even before I subscribe it. The box comes with cute illustrations and a unique box design each time. For a little over £10 per month (plus 3.95 delivery charge) you will normally get 2-3 beauty bits plus 2 lifestyle picks along with a pretty mini magazine.

For the Frenchie box, it is included DHC blotting paper (£4), L'Oreal Brow Pencil (£5.49), By Terry kohl pencil eyeliner (£23.50)- a gorgeous shimmery black colour! And its own brand product with adorable packaging - a peachy tinted cream for glowy skin look. Apart from the beauty products there are a little wallet for smartphone with front pocket to hold cards or even headphones and a little glass jar filled with inspiring notes which I think it's a bit random thing in a box but it's a cute idea anyway.

Unlike another boxes, the contents you receive are so unique and thoughtful. You never know what you are going to get (unless you have a peak on another blogger post) but you know that it will always lovely. However, if you are looking for a beauty box that full of beauty stuff inside this box might not be your option. But if you like to try something new in beauty box market this is the one :) For me, I love the look of it. Thinking about what I got I actually feel happy with it. For now, I will keep my subscription in place....at least for a good few months. I will keep you updated!

What do you think about it?
