SWATCHES & REVIEW : Lookme the Lipstick

Sawasdee ka all lipstick lovers~

Here I come again with swatches and review on my new lippies from Japan. I guess you guy might want to see some swatches after I've posted about japanese beauty haul. The brand is called LookMe the lipstick. I've never heard of this brand before but when I swatched the lipstick on my hand I just fell inlove. Most lipsticks I found in Japanese drugstore are usually nudey colours with glitter or glossy finish which I'm not fond of. So when I found this brand it's just like a heaven for me. The price is also really cheap as well compare with the quality it provided. All 4 lipsticks (840 Yen or around £5)

All of the lipsticks from this brand are really pigmented with a great choice of colour and creamy finish. My favourites have to be Pink fever – the bright, blue-toned pink and Tango – the orange toned red. Both amazing bright shades that leave a gorgeous shade on the lips that just screams Spring/Summer. Cotton candy is also very pretty, baby pink colour just like its name. Then there’s Baby kiss, one of those nudey orange.

For me, it’s the statement colours that are the winners from this collection. Both have an amazing opaque, full bodied cover rich in pigment. The dense pigment means they last well on the lip and even after they wear off there is a staining of colour remaining. On the other hand, others 2 shades, cotton candy and baby kiss, I feel okay with it but there is nothing special really.  They give sheen finish. For me I get only few hours wear but to me that's expected out of a light colour lipstick.
